Produce
We sell a variety of produce as the seasons allow. We face the normal challenges that any other farm faces, be it weather, insects, diseases, wildlife, dogs playing in freshly seeded ground, kids picking crops before they mature, and the list goes on. One of our biggest challenges are those chickens we care so much about eating their share of rice and tomatoes. With all that said, we work hard to produce locally grow, high quality produce that is not treated with synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.
Our niche crops are garlic, red potatoes, onions, sweet corn, microgreens, and rice!
ONIONS
We grow three varieties: red, white, and blue (just kidding, but that would great if there was a blue one out there); we also produce yellow onions.
RICE
We have been growing Charleston Gold rice for two years now. Our rice supply is limited so please reach out for a price quote.
GARLIC
Our other gem is our garlic. We started in 2021 with five heads of Certified organic Inchelium Red garlic. We produced 400 heads last year and will produce over 1000 heads of garlic this year. We harvest garlic in mid-May and cure it for around three weeks. If you want fresh uncured garlic, then let us know in advance. Otherwise expect garlic to be ready around mid-June. Our garlic will store for 6-8 months if kept cool.
POTATOES
We grow Pontiac red potatoes that will keep from around two months. Our potatoes come straight of the ground to you unwashed.
MICROGREENS/SALAD MIX
We plan to scale up our production in 2025, but supply will still be limited. Don't worry, we double wash out salad greens.
We sell direct throughout the year and deliver, if requested. Prices will vary depending on supply, if you are a friend or family, and if you have a sense of humor.
